PCBs in San Rafael, CA   Leave a comment

Recently the Ross Valley Sanitary District agreed to pay a $4.75 million to Campus St. James Larkspar, LLC (a developer) for contaminating a property near Larkspar Landing Ferry terminal. This lawsuit began in 2009 when the district was accused of contaminating a property Campus St. James intended to build on with PCBs. As part of the settlement agreement, Campus St. James representatives have been unable to comment in any interviews. Nevertheless, this seems to be a small win in the fight against PCB contamination.
