Swedish Researchers Link Both PCBs and Pesticides to Diabetes in the Elderly.   Leave a comment

Swedish researchers recently conducted a study on the connection between PCBs and pesticides to diabetes in the elderly. According to the study:

Elderly people with type-2 diabetes are more likely to have higher levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and organochlorine pesticides in their blood, indicating that environmental exposure to these substances substantially increases the risk of developing diabetes in an ageing population.
