Increasing Number of Prompton Lakes Residents Hospitalized for Cancers and Nervous System Disorders   Leave a comment

According to to findings of a recent study published by NorthJersey.com:

More borough residents than expected were hospitalized for cancers and visited the emergency room for nervous system disorders compared with their neighbors in six nearby towns and the state as a whole, according to new data. The state study also found that Pompton Lakes women had higher than expected rates of post-birth hospitalizations for birth defects and hospitalizations for chronic renal failure.

Furthermore, the study also found much higher rates of non-hodgkins lymphoma in men and kidney cancer in women who lived in the Prompton Lakes borough.
